Kate works with adults and families, and specializes in providing care for elder adults experiencing life transitions, generational differences, cognitive and physical change, chronic illness, loss, grief, loneliness, anxiety, depression, addiction, and stress. Elder adults, families, and caregivers often navigate issues and treatment within medical models of care. Embracing collaborative care, therapy can provide integrated emotional, psychological, and relational support to every-day health.
With training in systemic therapy, Kate brings a culturally responsive, strengths-based approach, considering each person within their family and community context. Tailoring therapy to the needs of each person, she draws from Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and trauma-informed, somatic practices.
Kate earned an Associate of Arts in Religious Studies, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Webster University, her Master of Music degree from the University of Denver, and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University in 2025.

Kate works with individuals ages 18 and up of all different cultures, identities, orientations, and backgrounds.
